March 26

We started our run with a quick stop at Area 51 Alien Center – no strange happenings to report! Next stop was at the Death Valley Nut and Candy Company in Beatty. It’s one of the largest candy stores in America, the perfect place to take care of your sweet tooth! Death Valley certainly has a unique desert beauty about it. Our day included a record temp of 99 degrees! Our members enjoyed their packed lunch at picnic tables at the Death Valley Visitors Center in Furnace Creek. We enjoyed some scenic stops – Stovepipe Wells to check out the Mesquite Flat Dunes, Artist Palette, Zabriskie Point, and Dante’s View. We had a full day of fun!
