What was your first Mustang?
My current 2015 GT Premium.
Why did you choose a Mustang?
I’ve always liked the S550 model when it came out in 2015. I’m only 24, and I haven’t been much of a car person until I got my Mustang. It’s only my 2nd owned car I’ve bought. When I was 14-15, my dad took me and my brother to a ford dealership when they were buying their Ford Fusion. My dad was looking at the new line of Mustangs (the S550’s were front and center on the lot). My brother jokingly said he would have one of those before my dad did, and he replied, “Yeah right”. Years later, in 2022, my brother bought a Kona Blue 2015 Mustang GT for himself. He proved my dad wrong for sure. When I was shopping for a car last year (2023), it wasn’t really anything but window shopping. I saw a Toyota Tacoma online that I thought looked nice, and in recommended vehicles was a Ford ranger (I was thinking about getting a small-medium truck). I clicked on the Ford ranger and looked around a bit more, and then I saw something that made me remember the day we went to the Ford dealership 9 years ago. It was a 2015 Mustang. I immediately started looking around for good deals on Mustangs, eventually landing on one that I just kept thinking was the best choice. It had all the things I wanted; manual, GT Premium with heated/cooled seats, larger infotainment screen, and relatively low mileage. On Saturday night I started my car search, and by Monday afternoon, I drove home in my new 2015 Guard Metallic Mustang GT Premium. It’s my daily driver and I love driving it every day. Everywhere I go I get looks of approval and people turning their heads (probably because I’ve cut my muffler and resonator off, but oh well). I’ve since put a new intake and exhaust system, and added some eye catching exterior mods like a spoiler, RTR front Grille and Lights, and blacked out 5.0 badges.
Any special memories with your car?
Going to different car meets, car runs, and other events with the club.
